At Williston API, we host several events throughout the year to raise money to support our programming. These events also engage the community in our efforts to reach students! Whether you’d like to get involved on an individual level or as a business through event sponsorship, we offer several ways for you to support our work while having a great time!

Williston API's 45th Annual Invitational Golf Tournament featured:

64 teams

384 golfers

Music, Food, and Fun!

Thanks to your continued support our 45th Annual Invitational Golf Tournament successfully raised Over $90K

Our main fundraising goal this year was to make a dream come true possible for a Williston resident through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Get ready to toss some holiday cheer!

Come to one, or come to both — either way, you won’t want to miss this!

Join us for a festive day of friendly competition, good food and great company at our Annual Holiday Social - Cornhole event. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just want to have some fun, this is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season and end of another year in the Bakken with friends & colleagues.

Ugly Sweater Contest for all teams & members. Embrace the holiday spirit by wearing your ugliest holiday sweater. Prizes will be awarded for the most creative & cringeworthy outfits.



The 45th Annual API Chili Cook-Off will be held Saturday, March 28, 2026 at the Raymond Family Community Center.

The Williston API is proud to host events that bring our community together while raising funds for local organizations and scholarships. 2025's API Chili Cook-Off exceeded all expectations, with 22 competing teams, 100+ sponsors, and over 1,500 attendees, resulting in over $110,000 raised to support scholarships and community programs.


The money raised from this event will directly impact local organizations, scholarships, and charitable programs, including:
✅ API Scholarship Program
✅ Giving Hearts Day Donations (Coyote Clay Target League, Upper Missouri Ministries, Eckert Youth Home, Salvation Army)
✅ Community Support (Williston Flyers Pee Wee Hockey, Korner Lions, Family Crisis Shelter, Keene VFD, Kids Day Out Foundation, WHS After Prom, WRED)

A huge THANK YOU to all the sponsors, volunteers, and attendees who made this event possible. Your support helps us continue making a difference in the Bakken! We look forward to seeing you at the 45th Annual API Chili Cook-Off next year March 28, 2026!

    Cornhole Classic Tournament

    Teams: 2 person Teams 64 Max teams, 1 person on each team must be an API member. Individual registration will be available for blind draw partner. 

    Double Elimination (Must lose twice) Winner & Non-winner Brackets

    Race to 21 (No bust rule), Cancellation Scoring

    Prizes: trophies & bragging rights will be awarded to the Top 5 Teams in upper bracket and Top 3 in lower bracket, cash/prize payout, Top 3 teams Trophy Boards in each division. Special prizes for "Most Festive Team Name" & "Ugliest Sweater" duo and Individual.

    2026 Williston API 46th Annual Golf Tournament

    The 46th Annual API Golf Tournament will be held in July of 2026. This is one of two major fundraising activities of the Williston Basin API Chapter. The proceeds of this event will be used to pay for scholarships for our active members students as well as donations to local charities and non-profits to make an impact in the community where we live and work!

    Returning Teams & Vendors must have a membership in good standing to be eligible for play.

    For practice round contact Eagle Ridge Golf Course to reserve a tee time. 

    • 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Team Registration Check In & Social
    • All teams must check in before play.

    We will have special parking for both days. 

    Note: Any team who has alcohol on the course that was not purchased from Eagle Ridge will risk disqualification. Must be at least 21 years of age to attend and play, any team that allows someone under 21 will risk disqualification.
